A world without promotional products ! (1/5)
Imagine, up from tomorrow, there are no promotional products any more in the world. What is the impact apart from my own businesses to collapse? What will a world without promotional product look like ?

In fact the question could have been also: Are promotional products still cost effective for advertisers?
And if they were not cost effective anymore, promotional products would already have disappeared. So some how there is a ROI (return on Investment) on promotional products.
Why do advertisers use promotional products :
Why do client like promotional products ? Because:
- Promote image; brand wareness
- To introduce or reinforce marketing of existing products, services, facilities
- Recognize or stimulate employee performance
- Generate sales leads, for example on trade shows
So I’m afraid that these 10 lines were enough to identify the place of promotional products in our actual world… so let’s imagine what happens if they disappear.
A brand is supposed to stand for something, promotional products do amplify this showing the brand in particular places and situations; Many brands use promotional products like thundersticks to create a positive link with sport events. Other brands will spread millions of small temporary tattoos, which stuck on the children’s arm will promote their brand during one week.
So for sure brand awareness will be affected in a world without promotional products.
Many customers ask our sales team : how can we create booth traffic during our next exhibition? Apart from those marketing trolls who believe that half naked young girls should create booth traffic, most other normal people will search for a funny, innovative or surprising gift to create booth traffic.
So ROI (return on investment) on trade fair investment might be affected once promotional products disappear.
if promotional products disdappear from our world, clients will loose money because many promotional products are really useful and the client will have to buy them if he doesn’t get them for free anymore. Even a simple key chain or a good pen costs a few Euro in a retail shop.
Besides this, once clients are used to get free gifts from a supplier or Brand, they’ll be really disappointed if it stops. And disappointed clients are not really what advertisers look for.
So my conclusion is that a world without promotional products would affect seriously brand awareness and would cost money to the clients and prospects.
