PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS GO GREEN

Posted on 11/06/2012 by Priscilla

If you look in your stationary drawer at work, you’re most likely to find countless plastic company pens rolling around inside. You’ll grab one, realise it doesn’t even work and throw it away or back in the drawer. You won’t remember where they came from or even what the company does. And in the ever changing technological world of iPads and smart phones, who’s to say you even need a pen to jot down that memo?pens

Even though marketing spend is on the rise, more companies are having to embrace new and innovative ways of promoting and launching their products to stand out from the crowd. The promotional products industry is moving on from useless and worn-out merchandise ideas like pens and mouse pads and welcoming in “a veritable fireworks of innovations” (Source: Marketingmag.co.nz article from APPA.com.au). Clever marketers are realising that quality, exclusivity and sustainability are what really count.

Environmentally friendly products have come a long way in the last few years and are now considered a trendy way to go green. They extend beyond hemp tote bags and recycled notebooks to include travel mugs, photo frames and cooler bags. Combined with the newest technology; materials made of bamboo, cotton, jute and even corn starch create renewable and reusable products that not only care for the environment, but show that businesses care too.

7721_0003While the move to go green may seem simple or unsophisticated, the quality of these products speaks for itself. The dual nature of the materials is that they are both naturally durable as well as biodegradable. This satisfies the increasing demand for retail quality products that still have heart. Best of all, the move to use eco-friendly products doesn’t compromise relevance or style. Neither does it discriminate. B dynamic’s eco products range from herb plants in zinc pots (for the lawyers who secretly pretend to be master chef’s at home), to a solar desk tree that guarantees your iPhone will never run out of juice when you’re video conferencing.

ECO1120_BambooFrame (2)Promotional products are used not only to increase sales and brand awareness, but they also reflect back on the business that chooses them. Ultimately, the value of the product is up to the client. So, when deciding which direction to go for your next campaign, ask yourself this. Are my clients more likely to use and remember a plastic click pen that hides in their desk or an engraved bamboo photo frame of their family that sits above it?

LOGOLIGHT, the flat flashlight

Posted on 07/05/2012 by Yuliya

Mots clés :

Tent-Camping-ImageJust like every summer, one sunny day of July you decide to cast off for adventure and go camping. France is a dream country for this type of summer activity. All you have to do is choose from its beautiful mountains, rivers and forests!

The challenge is to be practical by avoiding clogging up your suitcase with thousands of unnecessary things. What you should not forget to take with you is your flashlight! It will probably be very useful to you and will help you not to fall flat on your face when going out at night, or it will be of help when going to gather wood to make a fire at midnight or you could also dazzle wild animals with it  (or some very annoying campers) if they attack!

The disadvantage of a standard flashlight is its size, hence the interest to opt for the logolight, the customized flat flashlight. This small wonder is very light and not cumbersome at all. It weighs only 30 grams and can save your life when you are alone and lost at night. Mac Gyver never leaves without his Swiss Army knife, a camper never leaves without his logolight!02

This product is used in the world of communication. Why? Because the logolight can be entirely customized. Very often, companies , but also camping sites, present their clients with these logolights; such a gift is very appreciated.

Not only this product is very useful, but it is also a souvenir of your vacation. On your way home, after a summer break, you nostalgically take out of our pocket the flat flashlight customized at the image of the campsite…

Advertising Balloons: Long History

birthday-balloons

Did you know that the advertising balloons all kids are so crazy about go back to 1824? They were created by Professor Michael Faraday and he actually used them for professional reasons: he experimented with hydrogen at the Royal Institution in London and used rubber to make the advertising balloons.

However, when there was no rubber created yet, the concept of a balloon existed already. Children used to play with inflated bladders and used sea animals for that. Another great example was Galileo, who wanted to measure the weight of air and decided to use a pig’s bladder.

Humans are very creative and intelligent creatures. If you have a look at the balloons one can find on the market today, you realize that there is a huge variety of them: latex, rubber, and hydrogen ones etc. Lots of progress has been made in this field. What is more, balloons are more and more often used for advertising. They are an excellent promotional product used at different events. You can print your logo or text on one or both sides of the balloon making it visible to the public, in this way you personalize it according to your tastes.

As for the prices, they are rather competitive if you buy them from Euro-Logo, and they start at 0,07 per item for the quantity of 10 000.advertising balloons

If you are interested in making a campaign of advertisement among children and their parents, a bright advertising balloon would be one of the best means to communicate with them. You can use balloons for weddings, sporting events, birthday parties as well as at your restaurants to promote your brand name.

Did you know that many famous companies have objects and symbols hidden inside their logos?
This post showcases cool logo designs that cleverly use negative space to convey subliminal messages.

The subliminal messages are any sensory stimuli below an individual’s absolute threshold for conscious perception. Visual stimuli may be quickly flashed before an individual may process them, or flashed and then masked, thereby interrupting the processing.
Introduced in 1897, the concept became controversial as « subliminal messages » in 1957 when marketing practitioners claimed its potential use in persuasion…

Here are some examples of fantastic logos hiding a subliminal message:

paul rose Now does that sound familiar to you? Certainly in the current marketplace it makes sense for people to shop around for the most competitive prices. Now I’ve spoken many times about the importance of value over price, but it seems that there are still some people in the world who just want it cheapest and so for those people, this week’s blog is dedicated to you.

The first thing you’ll notice is that it’s FREE. There you go, you simply cannot get cheaper than that short of my actually paying to read this stuff, and as I know that quite a lot of you are, I think we can all agree that that’s not going to happen.

In all seriousness, let me ask you a question. Is your company the cheapest in your industry? Now really think about that before you answer, because some of you would have instantly thought “YES! YES WE ARE AND WE’RE PROUD OF IT”.

More than 37,000 deaths every year in a country with a population of only 10 million people. High blood cholestorol is a big risk factor. Secretly replace regular straws of some selected fast-food restaurants around the country for clogged ones, simulating the effect of an artery blocked by cholestorol. When we are thinking about detergents promotion, we all see the typical child coming back home with his clothes completely stained and his mother who will show us a completely clean shirt after 2 minutes of hand-washing in a clear sink…
Don’t you agree if I say that this kind of commercials are so repetitive that they don´t catch our attention any more?!

It’s why I wanted to show you a special promotional campaign for BREEZE EXCEL, launched by the publicity agency Lowe en Bangkok to make the women of the country aware of the product benefits.
